The British pop band Sherday, with its clever blend of jazz and blues essence and fronted by songstress Sherday Adu, became a worldwide hit with its debut album "Diamond Life". Their debut album, "Diamond Life," was a worldwide hit and made the band instantly popular. The band has performed in Japan three times, but their second concert in 1986 was a one-time performance in Tokyo on May 11, 1986. This concert was recorded for radio broadcast and live album, but it was only broadcasted and not released. The original audio master for the broadcast has been remastered for release. The set list of the day was 13 songs including encores, so the concert was recorded in its entirety. The first half of the concert is "Diamond Life," and the second half is composed mainly of songs from the new album "Promise," which is a great showcase for the charms of the Shadys.
