Description:

jizue, an instrumental band from Kyoto, releases a new album on their 15th anniversary! jizue is a post-rock/instrumental band from Kyoto, Japan, popular for their overwhelming live performances. jizue is a three-piece band that has excited many audiences at festivals and jazz events in Japan and abroad. The band will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2021 with the release of its anniversary album, "Garden". Last year, they wrote and provided the theme song for the NHK/BS1 news documentary program "Close-Up Gendai+", and in October, released their new EP "gnome". This album is their ninth original album and contains 10 songs including "brink," the theme song for NHK's "Close-Up Today+," "here" and "Quingdao" from "gnome" released last year. The album title "biotop" refers to a "biological habitat" such as a pot in the garden where killifish and small shrimps live. The name "biotop" is derived from the album's instrumental content, which sublimates a variety of genres from aggressive post-rock to progressive rock, jazz, Latin, etc. The album is a collection of 10 tracks including "biotop" and "biotop".Drum support is provided by Tsukasa Inoue of fox capture plan and komaki, who has supported SUGIZO and Kiyoharu, among others.
