Born in 1941, the renowned Turkish pianist Billet made his debut at the age of 16 and has since captivated audiences with his virtuosity and musicality for more than half a century. This album is a collection of Schubert's works recorded in 2016. Despite its relatively small size, it is a rewarding listen, featuring Schubert's typically elegant 13th sonata, with its interplay of major and minor in the second movement and Mozart-like third movement, and the fantasy "The Wanderer" as the main work, combined with the unfinished Sonata in F minor and an improvisation.
