Treasure Ark, a series of high-quality live recordings! Eric Clapton and the blues. Many fans must feel something special about this combination. Last June, such fans rejoiced when a CD and DVD recording of the November 8 and 9 performances at The Fillmore in San Francisco from the 1994 "Nothing But The Blues Tour" was released. This was the tour for "From The Cradle" (1994), a blues covers album released after the worldwide success of "Unplugged" (1992), and the entire tour consisted of only blues covers, so there was nothing better for those who love Clapton's blues. Moreover, Clapton himself was in top form, and his performance was one of the best of his tours, with a relaxed acoustic performance and a full-fledged electric performance.However, the above CD and DVD differ from the order in which the songs were actually performed, and many songs were cut. For those who felt frustrated by this, this CD is a must-listen. This is the complete recording of the performance at The Forum in L.A. on November 3, the first day of the tour, and the song order is the same. Unlike the club-sized The Fillmore, this performance was in an arena with a capacity of 17,000 people, and it was really hot. Of course, Clapton's guitar solos are in his usual Claptonian style, and his vocals, which sometimes get a bit rickety, are also a delight. The CD also includes "Ain't Nobody's Business" with piano backing, which was omitted from the CD and DVD. In addition, the encore song "Sweet Home Chicago" features Jimmy Vaughan, who was the supporting act for the encore. A must have for Clapton fans.
