The band celebrated its 10th anniversary on July 4, 2023, and released its third full-length album "Welcome to Helsinki Lambda Club" in August of the same year. In 2024, Helsinki Lambda Club finally performed at SXSW and held their first UK tour (including an appearance at The Great Escape), which was a great success, with some shows selling out despite being their first visit to the UK. Helsinki Lambda Club, which continues to be active both in Japan and abroad, will release its EP "Gekkan Escape" on CD and distribution. After finishing the production of "Welcome to Helsinki Lambda Club," the group began work on the next EP with the intention of creating a more dance-focused work and a more unified work as a whole. M1 "THE FAKE ESCAPE" was created after their first tour in the UK, and its main theme is "to live life in one's own way," M2 "Chirico" was inspired by the music and atmosphere of Asian countries after having performed in many Asian countries, and the most personal and internal part of this work "Helsinki Lambda Club" was created. M3 "Yellow" is a song about "accepting every weakness of human beings and going your own way.The song is based on 80's pop music, but also has the influence of "And I'm at a loss" by Osawa Toshiyuki, whom Hashimoto himself has always been fascinated with. It is a song about people and events that one is reminded of at a moment in one's daily life, and the song is intended to be listened to in the context of "you," whether it is a lover, friend, failure, regret, pain, and so on, This song is the closest to pop music in the history of Helsinki Lambda Club. Finally, M5 "My Alien," which is the most free, fun, and honestly produced song in the album, is a total of five songs that will engulf you in a roaring sound and euphoric feeling. While the songs are all distinctly individual, and there are too many variations, they are all united in their themes and consciousness.The jackets were designed by Rintaro Kanemoto, the same photographer who designed the band logo of Helsinki Lambda Club and the first album "ME to ME" in the past. The design was done by Hajime Numata, who previously worked on Helsinki Lambda Club's band logo and first album "ME to ME", for the first time in about seven years.
