A 2016 remastered and expanded edition of the live album originally released in 1971 Disc 1 features a concert of Mussorgsky’s *Pictures at an Exhibition* held on March 26, 1971, at Newcastle City Hall. It includes the complete major movements of the suite, such as “Promenade,” “The Gnome,” “Blues Variation,” “The Great Gates of Kiev,” and “Nutcracker.” Additionally, a “Pictures” medley performed at the Mary Sol Festival in Puerto Rico has been added as a bonus track. Disc 2 features an earlier live set recorded on December 9, 1970, at the Lyceum Theatre in London. In addition to nearly the entire *Pictures at an Exhibition* suite, it includes songs such as “The Barbarian,” “Knife Edge,” and “Nutrocker,” offering a broader perspective on the band’s live interpretations from that era. ● Comes in a 2-CD digipak with a 6-panel gatefold design and includes a booklet.
