Toby Miller is a Canadian hurdy-gurdy player, recorder player, and singer who studied ancient music at McGill University in Montreal and the Schola Cantorum in Basel. He is also a member of some of Europe's leading period ensembles, including Baroque de Limoges, Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien, and Per-Sona.Bach unaccompanied by "Hardy Gurdy", based on the historical fingering and performance techniques of HIP (Historically Informed Performance) and Hardy Gurdy, and realized by applying various innovations such as adding modern techniques to Bach's performance.
