Description:

Scandinavian Female Singer SIBILLE ATTAR's 2nd Full Album! The second full-length album by Stockholm, Sweden-based female pop singer SIBILLE ATTAR is released on vinyl from PNKSLM RECORDINGS. The album is a self-produced work that runs the gamut from electro-pop reminiscent of the New Wave of the 80's to experimental pop of the present day. The album is a perfect example of the Swedish Grammy nominee's ability! The best funk band in the universe, the ultimate 14-tracks! The groove and soul of half a century of activity! The rhythm section is Rocco and Garibaldi, and their last album, "Soul Side Of Town", released in 2018, the year of the band's 50th anniversary, was a true masterpiece. It was the first album of original music in 15 years, and the arrangements with strings and chorus, and the superb sound production delighted many fans. For several years prior to the release of the album, the leader of the band, Emilio Castillo, had been saying that "the album we are making now will be a 'Michael Jackson style' album, with many songs recorded and the best of them in the best order," and finally, in 2018, "Soul Side" was released. Finally, in 2018, "Soul Side Of Town" was released. And now the new release, "Step Up". If it is said that this is a collection of "the remaining songs from the previous album", it is not.Definitely not! The songs and performances on this album are also superb. Recorded at the same time as the previous album, it also features the same strings and chorus, and the sound is of a high quality, making it a very satisfying work. The opening and closing tracks of the album have similar titles to the previous album, but are completely different takes. And the other 12 tracks are also lined with numbers of magnificent workmanship. Yes, this is a "twin album" so to speak, along with the masterpiece "Soul Side...". The first word that comes to mind when listening to the album is definitely "confidence. We've been doing this for half a century. We've been doing this for half a century, and this is the result. The original four members, Emilio and Steven "Doc" Kupka, David Garibaldi, and Francis "Rocco" Prestia are still alive and well. And with the exception of the vocalist, the other members, who have been with the band for quite a few years now, play with confidence and pride. This is truly a joy. And for us fans, it is the best "present" from them.Their "first golden age" was certainly in the 1970s. After passing through the "winter period" of the 1980s, it was not until the end of the 1980s that they once again entered their "golden period. Since then, there have been some member changes, but it has been about 20 years since the group settled down with its current members. The only members who have changed since then are the vocalist, guitarist, and one trumpet player. This miraculous band has now released its second album, "Step Up". And "Step Up" is a compilation of songs created by these musicians, who are respected by musicians all over the world, and proud of their half-century history!
