Pervesh Modi’s passionate performance—he is also a grand-pupil of Neuhaus Pervesh Modi began recording his complete collection of Scriabin’s piano works in 2008, completing eight CDs by 2023, which were released individually on the THOROFON label. These recordings are now being released as a complete box set on the HAENSSLER label. This is a remarkable complete collection by a pianist who has come to be highly regarded as one of the most important interpreters of Scriabin in the modern era. Pervesh Modi is an Indian-born pianist based in Germany. He began studying music in earnest during his childhood in Mumbai, winning numerous competitions and quickly becoming a sought-after performer. He then studied as a scholarship student at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory under Margarita Alekseevna Fyodorova, a disciple of Neuhaus. It was there that he encountered Scriabin’s works and mastered the authentic Russian piano tradition. His Scriabin performances are passionate and thrilling.
