This Haydn sonata collection is a monumental first album for Noh Ye Jin, a pianist from Seoul, Korea, who was trained by Menahem Pressler and Arnauld Cohen. In the four sonatas selected by Noh Ye-jin, composed between about 1767 and 1794, one can hear Haydn's characteristic positive energy and playfulness, as well as a variety of rhythms and harmonies. Noh Ye Jin's unique and refined expression and interpretation, based on his masterful control of the dunamik, and tempo settings appropriate to each piece while remaining faithful to the fundamentals and principles of classical music, will bring out a sense of immersion that will not let you miss a single moment of the performance, making the approximately 60-minute performance time seem to fly by.
