The vinyl LP is also being released simultaneously! Another promising artist has emerged from the prestigious Roadrunner Records. It’s GUILTTRIP, a hardcore metal band that embodies the indomitable spirit and vitality of Manchester. Formed in 2015, the five-piece band—comprising Jay Valentine (Vocals), Jack Maiden (Guitar), Sam Baker (Guitar), Tom Aimson (Drums), and Lily Kilcoyne (Bass)—has steadily built their career the old-fashioned way, playing gig after gig and powerfully carving their path from sweat-soaked basements to the stages of cramped clubs. They released the EP *Unrelenting Force* in 2016, followed by their debut full-length album *River of Lies* in 2019. The track “Thin Ice” from the latter has amassed over 7.1 million streams on Spotify and continues to grow. Their 2023 release *Severance* marked a turning point.
