This is the BIS label's best recording! 39 Swedish "children's songs" with a long history, from traditional to new songs! It is often said that more people in Sweden sing in choirs than play soccer. Swedes of all ages love to sing, and many people visit the choir for weekend practice, not only for Midsummer celebrations and Christmas concerts. The members of Orfej Drengal (OD), a men's choir directed by Alveen and Eriksson, also enjoy taking time away from their respective jobs on weekends to practice a variety of songs, from the simple "Spring Songs" to "contemporary pieces" by Hilleborg (Hilleborg) and Sandström. Children's songs have a long history in Sweden, and many songs have been passed down through the generations, but in the 1960s and 1970s, thanks to radio and TV children's programs, many new songs were written and the world of children's songs became even richer. This album, "Each One is Different," contains 39 songs, both traditional and new. This repertoire is usually recorded by adult singer-songwriters because of their range, but in this album, students of the Adolf Fredrik Music School, a secondary school in Stockholm, sing the songs under the direction of experienced musicians.The five-member band "Ninnis Vardagsrum Ninnis Vardagsrum" (Ninnis' Living Room) performed together.
