Imaginen" by John Michael Franklin, an undiscovered composer born in Yorkshire. Raised in a children's home after his parents' divorce, he was introduced to music by his adoptive parents, who gave him a concertina (an accordion instrument) for his ninth birthday. He learned to play it within two weeks and even began to improvise, even though he had never learned to play anything before. He then began to study the piano in earnest, and reached the level of diploma. This piece, composed when he was 62 years old, is an attempt to express the healing power of music in his solitude.
