In 2023, the 15th anniversary of the release of the live video work released in 2008, this memorable project will be revived in a new format! This is a 2CD edition of ROADRUNNER UNITED: THE CONCERT, which was held in NY in December 2005 and released as a DVD in 2008. ROADRUNNER UNITED is a project organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Roadrunner Records, one of the leading and long-established labels in hard rock and metal music.Four team captains were selected - Joey Jordison of Slipknot, Rob Flynn of Machine Head, Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, and Matthew K. Heaphy of Trivium. The recording was done as an unprecedented project, with the best selected members performing songs written by the team leaders, and was released in 2005 as a commemorative album for the label's 25th anniversary. THE ALL-STAR SESSIONS" recorded great chart action in many countries around the world and made all metal fans go crazy. The 25th anniversary celebration did not end with the release of the album, however, as a one-night-only concert featuring Roadrunner artists old and new was held on December 15, 2005 at the Nokia Theatre in New York City. The 25th anniversary of the label was not limited to the release of the album. Many of the artists who did not appear on the album performed at the concert, which was also an unprecedented live performance that made a huge impact on the metal scene. (1/2)
