Talking Heads is an intelligent rock band led by David Byrne, a genius who continues to present art in the form of music in various ways. Talking Heads was called "the most fascinating experimental rock band in the world" at the time, and their revolutionary second album, "More Songs About Buildings and Food," released in 1978, was the band's first album to chart in the U.S. This is a super deluxe edition of the classic album, "More Songs About Buildings and Food," which was the band's first U.S. chart success. This 2-CD analog deluxe edition includes the original album with the latest remastered soundtracks, as well as two analog vinyl discs with rare tracks including many previously unreleased recordings. David Byrne was at the forefront of the 80's and continues to present the art of music through musicals, films, and various other forms of expression. The Talking Heads were a N.Y. intelligence band led by David Byrne that had a very strong impact from the late 1970s through the 1980s. In 2024, a super deluxe edition of their memorable debut album "TALING HEADS: 77" was released, and the world celebrated the many rare sound recordings that were included on the album, which were considered to be documents of music history. This year, the 50th anniversary of the band's formation in 1975 is being celebrated with the release of "More Songs About Buildings and Food," the band's second album and first to chart in the U.S., in a super deluxe edition, It has now been revived in a super deluxe edition for the modern age! This deluxe edition of the album, produced for the first time by Brian Eno, who has worked with the band on three consecutive albums since then, truly captures a pivotal moment in the band's subsequent evolution. The Super Deluxe Edition will be released in three formats: a luxurious 4-CD Super Deluxe Edition consisting of 3 CDs and Blu-ray, a 4-CD Super Deluxe Analog Edition that includes the original album and its source material on 4 analog discs, and a 2-CD Analog Edition that includes the original album and rare material. The Super Deluxe Edition includes the original album, which was remastered in 2025, and 11 rare tracks, including 4 previously unreleased alternative versions, as well as a concert recorded at the Entermedia Theater in New York City in August 1978. A rare live album of a concert held in August 1978 at the Entermedia Theater in New York City is also included in the collection. (1/2)
