In the winter of 2014, violinist Yukihiro Nishimoto began "VIOLINable - Discovery," a program that combines performances of the complete Beethoven sonatas and music to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Following the memorable first concert recorded on the previous CD, a live CD of the second concert is now available. The ambitious program centering on Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 2 is a great pleasure to listen to. The chemistry with pianist Keita Ohbushi, who has performed with the group many times, is also outstanding. Booklet enclosed. Recorded on December 11, 2015 at Patna Hall, Miyagino-ku Culture Center, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
