Kyoko Sato, who actively releases original works as a composer with her 10-piece band "Little Orchestra," consists of all cover songs from Parker, Monk, Desmond, and Jaco to Stevie Wonder and John Lennon. While respecting the melodies of the original compositions, the trio of Yuichi Narita (p), Toru Nishijima (b), and Wataru Omura (ds), together with the zydeco kubota and the talented Mei Inoue on two guitars, transforms into a sextet, quintet, trio, and duo, intertwining rhythms and harmonies in a variety of forms. This is a songbook of "beloved songs" as a collection of standards for the modern age.
