The latest remastering of the studio sessions conducted by THE ROOSTERS in 1980, just before their record debut, will be released in 2024 as a Tower Records limited edition double-CD set in A-style spread paper jackets. The album consists of studio sessions by the original members: Shinya Oe (vo, g), Hiroyuki Hanada (g), Tomio Inoue (b), and Junji Ikehata (ds), and is also called "another debut album". (Two CD sets, ISCP-1154/5 and UPCH-20011/2, released in March 2003 and March 2007, respectively, are currently unavailable.) Includes recordings at Victor Studios in Shibuya, Tokyo (Disc 1 01-09) and a recording session at Akasaka A.M.S. in Tokyo for the first album "The Roosters" (Disc 2), and consists of covers and originals of the Rolling Stones' early 60s repertoire. The album consists of covers and original songs from the Rolling Stones' early 60's repertoire, including songs not included on the original album.UNDER MY THUMB" by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Bobby Troup's standard "ROUTE 66" covered by Chuck Berry, "I'M A KING BEE" by Slim Harpo (James Moore) with Japanese lyrics by Shinya Oe and Jimmy Reed's "HONEST I DO", Rufus Thomas' "WALKING THE DOG", Don Covay's "MERCY, MERCY", Chuck Berry's "TALKIN' 'BOUT YOU", "AROUND AND AROUND"... etc. are all classic songs that were also covered by the Rolling Stones in the early 60's. In addition, Chuck Berry's "Thirty Days" also has Japanese lyrics by Shinya Oe. Original Roosters songs: "TELL ME YOUR NAME," live classic "BYE BYE MY GIRL," "ONE MORE TRY," "BABY I LOVE YOU," "I'M LITTLE DOWN," and instrumental "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT" are not on the original album. not included on the original album.Includes 32 songs from the Roosters' first album "THE ROOSTERS," including "New Cedric" and "Watch Out," "ALL NIGHT LONG," which later appeared on the Roosters' third album "INSANE" (1981), and "Hey Girl," a coupling song from a single.
