The original soundtrack of the OVA work "Prefectural Earth Defense Forces" written by Koichiro Yasunaga will be released on CD in 2024 in the latest remastered version. Theme and insert songs by Imawano Kiyoshiro, Char, Johnny, Louis & Char, etc. are also included. (Original release: 1986/FUTURELAND/TOSHIBA EMI Corporation/LB28-5015) Based on a gag manga serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly Shonen Sunday" from May 1983 to September 1985, it was made into an anime and OVA by Studio Gyaroppu. The single cut theme song "S.F." by Imawano Kiyoshiro, Johnny, Louis & Char, the ending song "Hide and Seek" by Imawano Kiyoshiro & Char, and the insert song "Private" by Imawano Kiyoshiro, Johnny, Louis & Char were also used as theme songs for the TV drama "Dessert is It was also used as the theme song for the TV drama "Dessert is You," and was remade later in 1993 under the name of Kiyoshiro Imawano & the 2.3's. The song "Private" was also used as the theme song for the TV drama "Dessert is You.The film includes musical accompaniment composed and arranged by Kentaro Haneda, who has composed music for many national films and TV dramas, including "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" (1982), "Space Battleship Yamato: The Complete Works", "Sayonara Jupiter" (1984), "Resurrection Day", and "Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari" (The World is Full of Demons).
