Remi Baro, Alto Monte Ensemble

Description:

Two Bruckner Chamber Works Performed by the Altomonte EnsembleAlthough most of Bruckner's works are symphonies, a small number of his chamber and religious works are also excellent. The String Quintet, written around the same time as the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies, was proposed by Josef Hermesberger, a renowned Viennese violinist. Although it is small in size, it has a style and atmosphere that is uniquely Brucknerian. On the other hand, the String Quartet of 1862 is a study. Rémi Barrault is also a conductor of note. He is an outstanding violinist who originally studied under Gerard Poullet at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, and also under the tutelage of Ivry Gitlis. He continues to play in numerous chamber music ensembles. Iris Schutzenberger, second violin, is also the concert mistress of the "Klangkollektif Wien" and since 2018 has been a regular guest with the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic.Stefanie Klopfreiter, who plays viola, studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, played in the Linz Bruckner Orchestra from 2014 to 2017, and participated in numerous orchestras as well as a member of the cross-over band "Merve". He has given excellent performances. Peter Aigner was born in 1967. He is active as a soloist and in numerous ensembles, including the "Darfito Trio". Cellist Jorgen Foog, a heavyweight from Copenhagen, has been a member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra since 1975 for many years. Naxos Japan
