The world's first analog release of this twilight masterpiece on the 20th anniversary of its release. This is a beautiful, serene, and timeless masterpiece with a beautifully mellow atomosphere that wafts between the lines of minimal acoustic tones and natural reverberations of sound. Lori Scacco is the pianist/guitarist for Seely, a shoegaze/dream pop band that used to release albums on Too Pure, and is currently active as a member of Storms, a duo with Eva Puyuelo Muns, a member of Savath y Savalas, and as a band member for Helado Negro's live performances. She is a female artist. Circles" is Lori's first solo album, which was released in 2004 on Guillermo Scott Herren's Eastern Developments label.He wrote, produced, and performed most of the music on the album. Simple tones of acoustic guitar, piano, and electric piano float in the air, colored by natural reverberations, while Tim Delaney's upright bass, featured here and there, accompanies them, creating a warm, sad, and melancholy sound that gently envelops the listener. The music is extremely tranquil, built with a minimum of acoustic sounds, but the compositions and accents are exquisite, and the listener is never bored, but rather drawn in. All the songs are instrumental, and while they resonate with the chamber acoustics, post-rock, and electro-acoustics of the time, they also have a taste similar to today's post-classical music. It is a timeless masterpiece that is still highly acclaimed as a masterpiece in some quarters, and has been a long seller since its reissue on the 10th anniversary of its release.
