Former Nightwish and Finnish diva Tarja Turunen has released an album of her live performances with 16 musicians in 20 years! The Japanese version only comes with a live album featuring the stage performance at Hellfest in 2004. Liner notes translation enclosed/Japanese subtitles included. Tarja Turunen is one of the biggest stars born in Finland. She has loved music since she was a child and was admired for her talent, but it was her encounter with Sarah Brightman that defined her career. Impressed by her classical style of singing pop music, she decided to train as a soprano singer at the Sibelius Academy of Music. In 1996, she formed Nightwish with Tsomas Holopainen and others. The following year, 1997, she made her album debut with "Angel Falls First". The band's innovative yet accessible style of heavy guitars, symphonic arrangements, and Taja's beautiful and powerful soprano voice was a big hit not only in Finland but also throughout Europe.
