The lyrics of the main character of the song are daintily sung over the heavy, swingy sound of leading players in the jazz scene. Tell Me A Bedtime Story, with lyrics by Herbie Hancock, was an unintentional surprise as Gene Jackson, a former member of the band, happened to play drums on the album. The song "Let's Play," written by Yasushi Yoneki, is the only song with Japanese lyrics. This is the first time the vocalist has performed this song, and it adds a lovely accent to the overall atmosphere. This album fits in well with any scene and is recommended for those who are listening to jazz vocals for the first time.
