The talented violinist Hiroshi Hashimoto has released a recording of J.S. Bach's complete unaccompanied violin partitas and sonatas. At the age of 11, Hiroshi Hashimoto unanimously won the first prize in the All Japan Student Music Competition. After graduating from the high school attached to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, he went on to graduate from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He then studied at the Juilliard School under Dorothy DeLay, a renowned teacher. Currently active in Japan and abroad, Hashimoto performed a violin recital at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2018, where she "drew the audience in no time with her superb technique and dynamic performance. The New York newspapers praised her "powerful tone, with a sense of passion even behind the soft melody. The Bach played in a very elongated and lustrous tone is truly a masterpiece. The performance, which spins out every single note, is a recording that shows the fullness of the current state of the art! The Bach performance heard here is that of someone who looks at the music with a careful eye from the essential point of view, and is able to steadily express what he gets from it without pretense.His technique and basic musicianship in expressing Bach's music is of a very high level.
