Description:
10th anniversary single, a song about a father who lives by the sea and a mother who supports him. The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of his debut and the release of his 10th single. This single, "Mom's Sea Songs," is a follow-up to the previous single, "Sea Songs," and tells the story of a son living in Tokyo who worries about his father, a fisherman, and his mother, who supports his father. The song conveys both masculinity and tenderness. The song is close to the image of Ichiro Toba, Muraki's brother and the singer Muraki aspires to be. The poem is written by Fumihiko Hara, as in the previous work, and the music is composed by Masakazu Tsuta, son of his former teacher, the late Toru Funamura. The coupling song is a new cover of the well-known Funamura song "The Big Dipper," sung by Hidekatsu Tojo in 1995.
