Carlos Santana, who became a star guitarist with two consecutive #1 albums in the U.S., "Heavenly Guardian God" and "Santana III," released his first live album in 1972 under the joint name of Buddy Miles (Dr./Vo). To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of this live album, which was a huge hit, reaching #8 in the U.S., Sony has finally released the world's first SA-CD multi-hybrid version as an official Sony release! The scorching Latin grooves that fuse funk, soul, and fusion, the aggressive guitar work of Carlos Santana and Neal Schon, and the powerful vocals of Buddy Miles are so powerful and realistic that it is almost as if you are in the live performance hall. The SA-CD multi-channel is the original master of the Quadraphonic LP (4-channel mix), and the CD layer is the latest remastered version using the SA-CD 2-channel high-resolution master.The package is an elaborate resized 7" paper jacket version of the domestic Quadraphonic LP, and the Japanese single jacket and the poster that was enclosed in the Japanese LP are also reissued. This is a permanent preservation disc for Santana fans all over the world!
