Pianist Katia Buniatishvili is popular for her beauty and beautiful, dynamic performances. Her seventh album, "Labyrinth - Labyrinth" is now available, following the acclaim of her previous album, "Schubert Album. This album is a collection of her favorites, and the selection of music is simply unique. The album features a wide variety of music from a wide range of periods, from Baroque works by Couperin, Scarlatti, and Bach to modern and contemporary works by Morricone, Pärt, Gainsbourg, and others. The album concept is "a diverse and easy listening album that appeals to a wide range of audiences. From the opening theme of Morricone's "Deborah," the listener is pulled into an unexpected world. The familiar melody begins with a deep blow of the bass. The melody itself is beautiful, but the atmosphere it creates is too mysterious. It is a song that we should know well, but.... At that moment, the listener's mind is already in a labyrinth. The slow, relaxed music of Satie and Chopin is followed by Ligeti, which shakes the senses, and then suddenly Bach brings us back to the real world. Here her sister Gwanza joins the duo. After that, Buniatishvili continues to take the listener into another world with her basically laid-back pieces.
