Directed by Michel Azanavicius, who won five Academy Awards(R) including Best Picture and Best Director at the 84th Academy Awards(R) for "The Artist". While respecting the original, he has evolved it into a highly emotional entertainment with a French touch of laughter and cutting-edge art. The cast also includes French actor Romain Duris, Oscar-winning actress Bérénice Bejo, and many others. In addition, Yoshiko Takehara, who played the "turtle stop" producer, will once again appear as the producer. The music will be composed by Alexandre Desplat, a world-renowned French composer who won the Academy Award(R) for Best Original Score for "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "The Shape of Water".From zombie music to beautiful love themes, comical music to raunchy music, this is Desplat! The soundtrack is a true "Death Plague".
