"Music for Hallucination Therapy" John Hopkins' latest and much-anticipated work is a a new type of experiential music that takes the listener to a new dimension. Jon Hopkins is an electronic producer who gained attention for his participation as a songwriter and producer on Coldplay's "Beautiful Life" with Brian Eno, and for supporting Coldplay on their world tour. His album "Immunity" released in 2014 was nominated for the Mercury Prize in the UK, and his last album "Singularity" released in 2018 took a further leap forward and entered the top 10 in the UK charts. His latest album, "Music For Psychedelic Therapy," was released on the Domino label. Music For Psychedelic Therapy" is a work created in a completely new direction from his previous works, "Music For Psychedelic Therapy," and was completed out of a desire to distance himself from the hustle and bustle that goes on towards large scale festivals and festivals, and is more like a dance music or electronica record, It is more akin to a classical symphony. This is a work that should be experienced not only by listening to the music, but also by the listener's own body, and by ceasing to stick to the traditional rhythmic structure, a great sense of freedom is felt. It is not ambient, classical, or post-rock music. The domestic CD will include the bonus track "1/2 Singing Bowl (Ascension) - Excerpt," which is the first physical version of the album, and a commentary will be enclosed.
