This masterpiece, an icon of Warp in the 00's and an acknowledged influence of producers such as Arca, Hudson Mohawk, and Rusty, has been reissued as a gorgeous 2-CD set, "Body Double," which includes a remastered version on Disc 1 and a collection of unreleased and rare recordings, "05-10," on Disc 2. Clarke's 2006 LP "Body Riddle" is one of electronic music's undiscovered masterpieces, a beautiful and unstable mixture of violence and sadness, layered with hot, distorted melodies, shimmering textures, and powerful drumming (performed by Clarke himself). It would be no exaggeration to say that Clarke's 2006 LP, Body Riddle, is one of electronic music's undiscovered masterpieces. The production is flawless, almost inhuman, enveloping the listener in its midrange before slamming them hard, traversing seamlessly between organic instrumentation and false shifting sound design.The domestically distributed 2CD will be released with a manual.
