In the early 1970s, musician Curtis Knight, famous for his friendship and collaboration with the fledgling Jimi Hendrix, moved to London. There he formed a band called Curtis Knight Zeus and recruited a young but brilliant guitarist, Fast Eddie Clark (later of Motorhead fame). This album was recorded at Olympic Studios in London in 1973, but was not released in the UK, only in a few European countries. It is psychedelic hard rock with soul/funk influences and a touch of proto-punk. Curtis sings lead vocals and plays guitar, and also writes all the songs, demonstrating his versatile songwriting talents. The underground heavy funk hit "The Devil Made Me Do It" is included! Reissued in a gatefold cover as well as the original.
