Phil Collins' sons, Simon Collins and Kelley Nordstrom, have launched their new project, eMolecule! Debut album "The Architect Simon Collins, the son of Phil Collins of Genesis, and Kelly Nordstrom, a guitarist from Canada, have been working together for a long time since they met in 2005 in British Columbia, Canada. They have co-written original music together. They co-wrote original songs, many of which would appear on Simon's band Sound Of Contact's album Dimensionaut (2013). With the success of this work, the two decided to continue the project, and while Simon was working on his fourth solo album, Becoming Human, Kelly began writing songs for his new project = eMolecule. In the summer of 2020, the two met at Simon's studio in Ireland and completed a concept album after a month of recording. It is "The Architect". Boasting intense guitar and drum performances and skillful arrangements, this album captivates us with beautiful melodies and breathtaking emotional song development from (1) "eMolecule" to the closing song (11) "Moment of Truth," and leads us to another dimension with Simon's haunting voice, dynamic and diverse guitars, and modern sound production. Beyond Belief" is about leaving the conventional wisdom behind and searching for the ultimate truth," said Simon about the music video for "Beyond Belief," which was released prior to the album's release. Kelly said of the new album, "Simon and I have been working together for nearly 20 years. His and my personal connection is evident in the quality of the songwriting on this album. The music on this first effort as a duo is some of the best I have ever participated in. As a guitarist, the inspiration I received from this album was invaluable. As a songwriter, this album has given me the perfect opportunity to explore the meaning of life," he says confidently. Mixed by Swedish Grammy Award winner Daniel Bergstrand (DEVIN TOWNSEND, BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR), mastered by Lawrence Mackrory (DARKANE, BLOODBATH, DECAPITATED, PORT NOIR, BAEST).
