The Flower Kings, led by Leone Stolt, an important figure in the Scandinavian progressive rock scene, is releasing a new album, "Islands," just one year after their last album, Leone's solo work, "Manifesto of an Alchemist," was released in 2018. The cover art is by the legendary Roger Dean, known for his work with Yes and Uriah Heep. The future didn't really 'unfold' the way we wanted it to, with all the shows and festivals being cancelled," said Dean. We didn't have a choice but to let the pandemic pass by without doing anything. We could not let an evil virus stop us. With members living in the U.S., Italy, Austria, and Sweden, the only way to work was to send files to each other through the magic of the "net" and put together a piece of work. The result is a two-disc album with 21 songs.
