Facing the shadows of his climb to stardom and crawling back up from mental rock bottom, Mac Miller once again regained his confidence and was able to face his music with a clear head and body on his soulful and realistic third album, "GO:OD AM," released in 2015, acclaimed at the time by Billboard and Rolling Stone as "the best work of his career" and, as his first album on a major label, was hailed by The New York Times as "one of the most musically compelling hip-hop LPs of the year."
