This is the first new album in five years from Thirty Seconds to Mars, a band led by actor and director Jared Leto. With this album, filled with messages and uplifting anthems, they are once again taking the whole world by storm. Jared Leto formed Thirty Seconds to Mars with his brother Shannon, and since then the band has been driven by their intuitive creative interplay. The band has written hundreds of new songs, inspired by the many emotions and experiences they have experienced in the five years since their last release. They then selected a select number of those songs for the album and recorded them, they say. The album, which was produced with a wide variety of musicians and producers, is a concise and rich work, with no song longer than three and a half minutes, and the emphasis is on Jared's emotional and straightforward vocals. The band explores new emotions and colors of life, incorporating elements of love, living in the moment, heartbreak, and transcendence.The warmth of acoustic guitars and synths envelops "Seasons," a song with a hook full of power, "Life Is Beautiful" and "Avalanche" that will have you flailing your arms on the roof, the artfully produced gems "World On Fire" and "7 : 1," are just a few of the many highlights scattered throughout the album. Several highlights are sprinkled throughout the album.
