Beethoven Albums by the young and talented German Boulanger Trio, including "The Grand Duke" The new album by the Boulanger Trio, formed in Hamburg in 2006 under the name of sisters Nadia and Lily Boulanger, is a Beethoven album. Their previous album "Shostakovich & Vasquez" was excellent, but the Boulanger Trio, which covers a wide range of music from Haydn to the works of his contemporaries such as Cerha, Larcher, and Toshio Hosokawa, won the first prize at the 4th Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition in Norway in 2007, and in 2008 they were awarded the Rauhe Prize.
