GEYSTER, the main project of Gael Benjamin, a French AOR fanatic and pop creator of kirameki in numerous units, is the new 2011 release of GEYSTER! Released without a break from his previous album "RADIO GEYSER 1977", this album is filled with his favorite 80s pop covers! He starts off with two crystal clear covers of "I Can't Tell You Why" by the Eagles and "Kiss On My List" by Hall & Oates, then moves on to the classic "The Bottle" by Gil Scott Heron, who passed away recently, in a danceable manner, The band then moves into the Alan Parsons Project's "Eyes in the Sky," which is a very gentle and tender song. Then, "THRILLER," a cover of MJ, a song that shows the true nature of Toad's love for Michael Jackson! The smooth and mellow version is carried away only by the tone of the electric piano.There are other nice selections that will tickle the hearts of AOR/mellow lovers, such as "VENTURA HIGHWAY" from the U.S. and "RIDE LIKE A WIND" by Kristopher Cross, but the GEYSTER self-covers of "1982" and "BYE BYE SUPERMAN" are just as good, so don't miss them.
