First prize winner of the Baroque Opera Cesti Competition 2018 and the Bel Canto International Competition Vincenzo Bellini 2017, the first solo album by young Swiss soprano Marie Riss, the famous soprano who performed Handel's Prima Donna in London in the 1730s, A collection of arias written for Anna Maria Strada. Studied at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the Royal Academy of Music in London, Lis has already collaborated with renowned conductors such as Dmitry Shinkovsky, Maxim Emelianichev, and Michel Corbo, among others, and has performed with Europa Galante under the baton of Fabio Biondi. The success of his European tour of Vivaldi's long-lost opera "Argipo" with Erollopa Galante conducted by Fabio Biondi was a great triumph, winning accolades from all quarters. The young soprano, who is expected to continue her career in the years to come, will sing unknown operatic arias from the Baroque era with the Apikordis Ensemble, an ensemble she co-founded.
