Ignacio Prago, one of the new generation of Spanish classical music specialists recording for Glossa alongside Joséchu Obregón and Lina Tour Bonet, is pleased to announce the arrival of a new solo recording by Ignacio Prago, winner of the 2012 Westfield International Harpsichord Competition and named by El Mondo as one of the Ignacio Prago is a young Spanish harpsichordist who won the 2012 Westfield International Harpsichord Competition and has been described by El Mondo as "the most versatile and outstanding Spanish musician on the classical scene. He has performed with Harry Bicket, Monica Haggett, Masaaki Suzuki, Jordi Savall, and other masters of classical music in Europe, Japan, China, the Americas, and around the world. He made his solo debut with Glossa on "Bach: Goltberg Variations" (GCD923510). Following "Avison: Concerto Concertos" (GCD923526), which was selected as a Record Geijutsu Special Recording Award winner, Glossa returns to Bach again in this recording.Prago, who has recorded Bach on the Cantus and Verso labels, selected Nos. 3 and 5 from the "Six Partitas" and No. 3 from the "English Suite" to be performed on a Bruce Kennedy 2021 (replica of the Blanchet model) harpsichord. The excellent compositional skills and precise performance, which were also demonstrated in the "Golteberg Variations," will present a stimulating Bach performance. Tokyo M-Plus
