Handel & Haydn Society's Haydn! The fifth edition includes Mozart's "Concerto Symphony"! The Handel & Haydn Society (HHS), the oldest period orchestra in the United States, and Harry Christophers, who became the 13th Music Director of the HHS in 2008, present the fifth in a series of live Haydn symphony concerts! Included are Symphony No. 49 "Passion", one of the masterpieces of the Sturm und Drang period (the fast and furious period), and No. 87, the last symphony of the "Symphonie de Paris". Also, Mozart's "Concerto Symphony K. 364" features Aislinn Nosky, who has worked with the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and other orchestras and is currently HHS concertmaster in 2018, as well as deputy principal viola player of the Age of Inquiry Orchestra and guest principal Max Mandel, who has played with various groups including HHS, AAM, and SCO, is featured in this graceful exchange.
