Description:

The album "Eternity" by Viktor Olli Ahrnason, a remarkable Icelandic musician with beautiful "soundscapes" created with a rich sensibility. Particularly well-known is the cellist and composer Hildur Gvuznadóttir (Hildur Gudnadóttir). A member of an electronica band, she has composed music for films such as "Chernobyl" and won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Composition for "The Joker. Viktor Olli Årnason is another musician to watch. He studied violin and viola at the Icelandic University of the Arts, composition and conducting at the Hans Eisler University of Music and Performing Arts in Berlin, and played violin and wrote lyrics as a member of the band "Hjaltalin Hjaltalin" and co-founded the contemporary music string ensemble "Stark Stark" in 2008. In 2008, he co-founded the contemporary music string ensemble Stark. His work focuses on "colliding the worlds of classical music and studio production art."He has his own studio, VOA Studio, in Berlin, which Hildur and other musicians use as a creative space. Eilifur" is Victor Olli's debut solo album. It meditates on "the prospect of living forever." The concept of the album is an ode to those who support "a life worth living," weaving together abstract Icelandic lyrics and a meticulously crafted "language of music" to tell a simple story of the near future that imagines "the eradication of natural death by medical progress will become a reality in the near future. The three pieces for male chorus were commissioned for the 100th anniversary concert of the "Faustbraesl Male Chorus" in Reykjavík. Var" ("Behold, be alert, breathe the night air ......"), "Er" ("Be one in the middle ......"), and "Var - Er" ("Eternity. You are conscious by my side. ......").The six orchestral pieces are performed in three different configurations: "24 string orchestra," "12 cellos and 10 double basses," "two bass flutes, two saxophones, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, two percussionists, violin, viola and cello," and The piece will be performed in three different configurations, with the addition of a male sextet, Victor Olli's own instrumental solos, and Yair Elazar Glotman's contrabass. These melodic and tonal "sounds" based on classical music were recorded in Icelandic churches and in the studios of the Hungarian Radio, and mixed by Victor Olli in his studio in Berlin. This is a beautiful and lingering work of "soundscapes" created with a rich sensibility. No Japanese obi is included. King International
