LSO Concertmaster Roman Simovic The marvelous Isai played with easy virtuosity Roman Simovic, leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, was born in 1981 and has been concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra for many years since 2010, and continues to be trusted by conductor emeritus Simon Rattle. He was born in Montenegro. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Professor Marina Jashvili. She won first prize and 12 audience prizes at the Rodolfo Lipitzer International Violin Competition, second prize at the Zion-Valley (Tibor Varga) International Violin Competition, second prize at the Yampolsky International Competition, second prize at the Wieniawski International Competition, and many other international competitions. She has won many first prizes and prizes in international competitions. The LSO LIVE label presents a solo recording of Ysaÿe's "Six Sonatas for Solo Violin," one of the most difficult sacred texts for violinists, and Simovic, who also visited Japan at the end of 2024, captivated the audience with his overwhelming music and his spare technique from his tall stature.
