Description:
The band was formed in 1972, and its core member is Noel Redding, bassist of Jimi Hendrix & the Experience. After two albums with Fat Mattress, it was time to form the Noel Redding Band. After the sales failure of Fat Mattress, which was based on a country-rock sound and a beatific sense of music, the band transformed into a power trio in the style of Experience. The band features Rare Earth guitarist Rod Richards and Stray Dog drummer Les Sampson, and their playing ability is second to none. The hard rock/psychedelic sound is centered on heavy riffs, and the bass solo is also very blistering.
