Description:
Crashing in like waves, the memory of sound echoes through the air. A tremolo boat rocking in the summer sun. Nothing withers, full speed ahead. Weaving the spirit of rough but powerful pop. Clean guitars, denting guitars, and noise-soaked guitars intermingle. Recorded in Los Angeles with Robbie Cody (Wand, Pink Trash Can), this album is like a best-of album, a gut-punching blowout packed with hits, with an air of Velvet Underground and The Sonics, and a nod to the late 80s SST label rockers and Opal. There are moments that are reminiscent of the rockers of the late 80's SST label and Opal, and at times, indie expressionism. At other times, the sound is reminiscent of indie expressionists Summer Hits, with a subtlety and noise that is sublimated into a sound rooted in their hometown of Los Angeles.
