Anton Reicha (Antonin Reicha) was born in the same year as Beethoven, and the year 2020 will mark the 250th anniversary of his birth! In this anniversary year, Re Angeli Geneve led by Stéphane MacLeod recorded two Sinfonia Concertante! Reichert was born in Prague, worked in Bonn, Hamburg, Vienna, and Paris, and finally became a naturalized French citizen, meeting Beethoven in Bonn when he was 15 years old and remaining close to him. He was also a professor of composition at the Paris Conservatory, where he taught Liszt, Berlioz, Gounod, Franck, and others, and made great achievements as a theorist and educator. 2 Sinfonia Concertante, composed in Bonn and Vienna around 1800, are magnificent, truly passionate melodies and innovative compositional techniques, They are masterpieces that revolutionized the Sinfonia Concertante form and attest to Reichl's virtuosity and artistic virtuosity.
