Description:
Formed in 1994 on the island nation of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea, this veteran symphonic/ melodic rock band. Following their 2020 album *BINARYSUNS (PART 1 – OPERANT CONDITION)—which earned high praise from specialized media and critics—their 2026 follow-up is set to be released by Shaded Moon Entertainment in the Netherlands! Their orthodox symphonic/melodic rock sound—which has remained consistent since their debut, reviving the good old 80s neo-prog sound while polishing it with elements of HR/HM—is alive and well on this album. Perhaps because it was produced with the same lineup as the previous album, the result is arguably their best work to date in terms of both performance and expressiveness. While the album is structured as an epic work centered on the story-driven suites the band excels at, it avoids the outlandish developments and tricky arrangements often found in progressive bands, Instead, the band carefully and naturally performs a multitude of catchy phrases that showcase their exceptional sense of melody, creating a musical style that directly expresses inner emotions—both melancholy and joy—and firmly captures the listener’s heart. With its diverse and grand keyboard orchestration—featuring refined piano and uplifting synths—along with emotional guitar that at times veers into heavy territory, all woven together by superb vocals and harmonies, this powerful album further expands the introspective narrative world of this work, which offers a deep contemplation of life and the human condition!
