SAMMARY, a German art-rock duo consisting of a young multi-musician/composer Sammy Wahlandt and a female vocalist Stella Inderwiesen, released their third album in '25! The album is a concept album based on the play "Faust" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, one of Germany's most famous writers. Jon Courtney, the brains behind PURE REASON REVOLUTION, who took the "post rock" genre to the next level with his cutting-edge style in the music scene of the 2000s, guests on the title track, which is a unique sublimation of the band's musicality from Sammy's angle. The album is a combination of downer post-metal sound with distorted guitars and bass, and a floating and spatial soundscape that can be linked to dream-pop and shoegaze artists.The monochrome decadence hidden behind Stella's beautiful coquettish voice, which brilliantly colors the world of the work, slowly permeates this dense work. Randy McStine, who has participated in IN CONTINUUM/THE FRINGE and toured with PORCUPINE TREE, guests on guitar on three songs: "Wasser," "Lullaby," and "Drinking Water.
