Sibelius's choral works are all available in "The Complete Works of Sibelius, Vol. 11" (BIS 1930/2), but here we can enjoy them in the virtuosity of Dominante, one of Finland's most famous choral ensembles. A pleasant surprise is the participation of the famous baritone Hunninen and the mezzo-soprano Groep, which adds an extra touch of glamour. Glasbeck's piano and Viitanen's organ are eloquent, and the a cappella Finlandia Hymn at the end is a rare masterpiece. It is impossible to listen to it without tears. King International
