Keith Carlock is a drummer from the U.S. who has played with many great artists and bands such as TOTO, STEELY DAN, James Taylor, Donald Fagen, etc. He has played with many bands including the symphonic rock band WHITE WILLOW and the post-rock band THE OPIUM CARTEL, and has established his own solo projects such as TELEPATH and DONNER. Jacob Holm-Lupo is a well-known presence in the current Norwegian progressive rock scene, having played in numerous bands including the symphonic rock band WHITE WILLOW and the post-rock band THE OPIUM CARTEL, as well as starting his own solo projects such as TELEPATH and DONNER. Brynjar Dambo, who also played in WHITE WILLLOW and DONNER, Stian Larsen, a musician living in Oslo who studied guitar under Jon Eberson, and Bill Bressler, a keyboard player from the US who released his solo debut "NORMAL BOY" in '18 in the keyboard symphonic rock style. The band is a multinational jazz-funk-fusion band consisting of five members: Stian Larsen, a musician living in Munro, Germany; Bill Bressler, a keyboardist from the U.S. who released his solo debut "Normal Boy" in '18 in a keyboard symphonic rock style,SOLSTEIN's '23 debut album will be released on Is It Jazz? label, a new sub-label of Karisma Records in Norway! SOLSTEIN was formed after Keith and Jacob collaborated on the recording of "HESITANT LIGHT" by DONNER, Jacob's aforementioned solo project. The album is a groovy mix of fusion and jazz funk sounds inspired by the likes of THE CRUSADERS/Herbie Hancock/Bob James, with a light jazz-rock touch in the style of 70s progressive rock/Canterbury music!
