Durand Jones & The Indications is a contemporary R&B/soul group formed in Bloomington, Indiana, centered around Durand Jones and Aaron Fraser. They have released their third album, *Private Space*, which boldly ventures into the world of modern soul and disco beats. Following their 2019 album *American Love Call*—described by *The Guardian* as “flawless, timeless soul”—Durand Jones & The Indications will release their new album, *Private Space*, on July 30, 2021, via Dead Oceans/Colemine Records. Centered around the harmonies of Aaron Frazer (drums/vocals) and Durand Jones (vocals), and joined by Blake Rhein (guitar), Steve Okonski (keys), and Mike Montgomery (bass), The Indications fuse a revival sound with a modern attitude. At the heart of *Private Space*, the group’s third album, lies a vibe from The Indications unlike anything they’ve offered before. While the group has crossed the boundaries of funk and soul in their past work, *Private Space* opens the door to an even broader sound, leading them to boldly venture into the world of modern soul and disco beats. It is an organic, timeless work—as fresh as a pair of clean sneakers, yet as familiar as a well-loved, well-worn LP. Durand Jones & The Indications is a contemporary R&B/soul group formed in 2012 in Bloomington, Indiana, centered around Durand Jones, Aaron Frazer, and Blake Rhein. In 2016, they released their debut album, *Durand Jones & The Indications*, on the Ohio-based soul label Colamine Records (the album was reissued by Dead Oceans in 2018). The track “Groovy Babe” gained attention after being featured in a Google commercial. In March 2019, they released their second album, *American Love Call*, which received high praise from media outlets, including *The Guardian*.
